What's new

• Choose your WhatsApp notifications. Settings now has a Notifications section where you can turn the book-request and gift WhatsApp messages on or off. Verification codes are always sent and aren't affected.
• Give a book away from its own page. The Giveaway option now sits on each book's page, not just in your dashboard list.
• This page. A running list of what's changed, linked from your account menu and the footer.
• Links shared from SwapBooks now show a proper preview card in chats and social apps.

A few changes so you never miss a swap.

• Gift by phone. You can gift a copy to anyone by their phone number now — an email address is no longer needed on either side.
• WhatsApp on new requests. When someone asks to swap, buy, or borrow one of your books, you get a WhatsApp message straight away if your phone is verified, on top of the usual email.
• Links that work. A few notification emails and QR codes could point at a development address. They now always open swapbooks.whitepigeon.org.
